| It has always been said that where there’s a will there are relatives! When Kate Houlihan dies, her will stipulates that her remaining relatives will only receive her property and money if they live peacefully together in the house for at least one month. Her housekeeper Julia Finnegan will also benefit if she performs the housekeeping duties during this time. As the totally opposing views of Kate’s two nephews (Michael Maloney a nationalist farmer from Kildare and William Mc Stay a staunch Belfast Orangeman) are presented, many hilarious moments are lived through, with Julia continually striving to reconcile differences and keep the peace.
“All the King’s Horses” raises many issues still relevant in 2013 and provides a most enjoyable and entertaining experience for the audience. |
